Edolas is saved, and the mages of Earth Land and the Exceed return. Magnolia is restored. Chagot explains that the Exceed's "mission" (to kill dragon slayers) is actually a cover to evacuate 100 eggs. Panther Lily is accepted into Fairy Tail. Surprise: Lisanna (Mirajane and Elfman's younger sister, presumed dead) is back from Edolas where she was trapped. The guild prepares an S-Class exam on the Sirius Island (the guild's sacred land). Cana is one of the 8 candidates. Lucy becomes her partner. With Lucy's help, Cana defeats Fried Justine and his partner Bickslow in the preliminary round.
