Keeping Natsu and Gray captive for his amusement, Selene sends them into the caves of her mountain lair to fight a horde of yōkai, including their own teammates transformed by Yoko (Moonlight Divinity). Aquarius self-invokes through Lucy's amplified magic, restores her memories, and tricks Wendy into canceling her own transformation, then does the same for the others. Selene sends Yoko to fight the team with her infinite yōkai, but Erza defeats Yoko and disperses the horde. The chief priestess of the village of Faris magically summons Suzaku (one of Diabolos' elite Dark Dragon Slayer Knights) to kill Selene. Suzaku crosses paths with Fairy Tail while fleeing, attacks to avenge his guild, and injures Natsu and Erza. Selene appears and duels Suzaku, while the other two Moonlight Divinities, Hakune and Mimi, pursue the team toward the village of Faris.
