While Lucy and Erza fight Kiria and Misaki, the battle between Natsu and Suzaku is interrupted by the arrival of Ignia (who is also searching for the heart of Elefseria). Natsu and Suzaku form a truce and follow Ignia to the base of the labyrinth, where they see him destroy the heart and severely injure Selene in a duel. The destruction of the heart resurrects Dogramag (who had stored his life force there to simulate his death, in a joint plan with Ignia). Ignia allows Dogramag to kill everyone except Natsu, whom Dogramag challenges to a fight.
