Goku achieves True Ultra Instinct (silver hair), surpassing Jiren. He cannot maintain it and teams up with Vegeta. Vegeta is eliminated. Freeza reappears and sacrifices himself with Goku to push Jiren out of the ring. In reality, Android 17 simulated his self-destruction and hid: Universe 7 wins. Universe 11 is erased, but Android 17 uses his wish on the Super Dragon Balls to restore all erased universes. Whis resurrects Freeza (promise kept). Later, Goku and Vegeta try to prevent Majin Buu from being taken by a mysterious group, but are defeated and taken themselves. The group is the Galactic Patrol, led by Merus. They reveal that Moro, a magical being who destroyed countless planets by absorbing their life energy, has escaped from the Galactic Prison. 10 million years ago, the Grand Lord of Lords used most of his divine power to seal Moro's magic. The Galactic Patrol wants to extract the Grand Lord of Lords' power from Buu to seal Moro again. With Buu asleep, Goku and Vegeta are enlisted as temporary members. Moro arrives on the new Namek, followed by Goku and Vegeta.
