Kale (the shy Saiyan of Universe 6) transforms into Super Saiyan Berserker (considered the Legendary Saiyan who appears every 1000 years) to save Caulifla. She loses control and causes the destruction of 4 other universes. Universe 11 almost ejects her, but Cabbe saves her and fuses her with Caulifla (Potara stolen from Kaiō-shin, against the rules but the Zenō are too pleased to sanction). Kefla (the fusion) eliminates 6 members of Universe 11 and then fights in a double ring-out with Gohan. Universe 6 is erased. Only Universes 7 and 11 remain. Goku cannot engage Jiren, but Kame-sennin dodges his attacks and is eliminated, giving Goku Ultra Instinct (autonomous instinct that unconsciously dodges, but only lasts for an instant). Vegeta unlocks his own form (not enough against Jiren). Freeza deceives Toppo and Dyspo, who are eliminated, leaving Jiren alone. Android 17 self-destructs (with no effect on Jiren), but Goku achieves Ultra Instinct again.
