Vegeta uses Forced Spirit Fission to release the souls and life energy that Moro consumed. This weakens Moro and resurrects those killed by absorption (notably the Namekians). Moro then consumes Seven-Three (who had a copy of Moro in reserve) and becomes stronger. He acquires the ability to copy Seven-Three and uses it on Vegeta. Goku, Vegeta, and their friends are unable to challenge Moro, who mortally wounds Goku and Piccolo. Beerus and Whis intervene (slightly) by helping Dende heal everyone and allowing Merus to fight Moro. Merus seals Moro's copying ability by destroying the crystals on his body, but by using his Angel powers, he violates the Angel's Law and ceases to exist. His sacrifice pushes Goku to finally perfect Ultra Instinct, surpassing Moro.
