Moro fights Vegeta by exploiting the power of Planet Namek. When he absorbs the energy of the planet and its inhabitants, he also absorbs that of Vegeta and Goku, who are defeated. The young Namekian Esca partially heals them. For 3 days, Moro and Cranberry gather the Dragon Balls of Namek. The Galactic Patrol arrives with Buu awakened (the Grand Lord of Lords within him, unlocking his latent power). Buu seems impervious to Moro's magic and tries to seal him again. Cranberry summons Porunga and makes two wishes: to heal and restore Moro to full power, then is killed by Moro. Moro makes the 3rd wish before fleeing. Buu heals Goku and Vegeta, then the Grand Lord of Lords takes possession of his body, and the three pursue Moro.
