Gotenks fights Super Buu. Gohan (after training with Kaiō-shin using the old Z Sword ritual) becomes Mystic Gohan (maximum power without transformation) and surpasses Super Buu. Buu absorbs him. Goku and Vegeta finally fuse (Kaiō-shin's Potara earrings) into Vegito, the most powerful warrior. Vegito dominates Super Buu, but voluntarily allows himself to be absorbed to free Gohan, Goten, and Trunks from inside. Inside, they are saved by Vegito's magic before he dissipates. They eject Buu's fat.
