Gohan surpasses Cell, forcing him to regurgitate #18 (Cell reverts to semi-perfect). Cell attempts self-destruction to destroy Earth; Goku teleports him to Kaiō's planet (where he dies with Bubbles, #17, and himself). Cell regenerates and returns, killing Trunks. Cell prepares a Kamehameha capable of destroying the solar system. Gohan (aided by Goku in the afterlife) counters the Kamehameha, with Vegeta's help. Cell is completely eradicated. Goku refuses to be resurrected and asks Gohan to take his place. Trunks (resurrected) travels to the future and kills the Androids.
