Goku launches a massive Genki-Dama (Spirit Bomb), fueled by several planets. Freeza is hit. Everyone gathers, but Freeza appears and kills Kuririn. Goku's rage triggers a legendary transformation: his hair turns blonde and his eyes turn blue-green—he becomes the first Super Saiyan in 1000 years. In this form, Goku surpasses Freeza. Freeza fires a beam at the heart of Namek; the planet will explode in 5 minutes. Kaiō-sama resurrects everyone killed by Freeza, and Porunga teleports them to Earth, except for Goku (who wants revenge for Kuririn).
