Kame-Sen'nin attempts the forbidden technique Mafūba to seal Piccolo in a pressure cooker but fails and dies. Piccolo summons Shenlong and wishes to become young again (after killing Chaozu, who tried to interrupt him). He conquers the world by defeating the king's army, orders Tambourine to kill Namu and Giran. Yajirobe takes Goku to Karin Tower. Karin makes him drink the Super God Water (poisoned according to legend). Goku survives and becomes stronger. Tenshinhan attempts the Mafūba but fails, defeated by Drum (Piccolo's son). Goku arrives, kills Drum, then confronts Piccolo and surpasses him.
