In a world where magic plays a central role, Asta is born without any magical power, while his childhood friend Yuno possesses exceptional talent. Despite this difference, they share the same dream: becoming the Wizard King, the highest protector of the Clover Kingdom. While Yuno receives a rare grimoire, Asta obtains a mysterious five-leaf grimoire that allows him to use anti-magic. Recruited into different squads of Magic Knights, they progress through missions, rivalries, and battles against increasingly dangerous enemies while uncovering the secrets surrounding their powers, the kingdom, and the origins of certain threats.
