While the Berserker Armor devours Guts' life while granting him superhuman strength, the kingdom of Windham is the scene of astonishing clashes between the Falcon's army and the Emperor of the Kushan. He engages in unnatural experiments to create demon children, and he only dreams of confronting Griffith. This volume marks a major turning point in Berserk due to its visual inventiveness, thematic audacity, and the mastery of its battle scenes.
