Guts, the Black Swordsman, parades his imposing silhouette through villages. In his path, corpses pile up, and he leaves behind torrents of blood. Clad in black, he carries a sword as tall as a man on his back. On his neck, a mysterious mark condemns him to be pursued day and night by demons. Puck, the mischievous elf, one day crosses the path of this killing machine. What horrors must he have experienced to be driven by such a thirst for vengeance? As the world inextricably sinks into chaos, Guts settles his scores with the demonic forces tightening their grip on the destiny of men. Over the years, Berserk has become a classic of heroic fantasy in Japan and France.
