"Is there a more desirable experience than that of joy? More intense and deeper than pleasure, more concrete than happiness, joy is the manifestation of our vital power. Joy is not decreed, but can it be tamed? To provoke it? To cultivate it? I would like to propose here a way of self-fulfillment based on the power of joy. A way of liberation and love, to the opposite of the false happiness proposed by our narcissistic and consumerist culture, but also different from the wisdoms which aim at l'ataraxia, that is to say, the absence of suffering and trouble. For my part, I prefer a wisdom of joy, which assumes all the sorrows of existence. Who embraces them to better transfigure them. At the steps of Chuang-tse, Jesus, Spinoza and Nietzsche, a wisdom based on the power of desire and consent to life, to the whole life......To find or regain perfect joy, which is not the joy of life."
