Danielle Wellys, a young woman pursued by the law, comes before Wonder Woman and invokes the Hiketeia, an ancient Greek ritual that binds whoever accepts it to protect the person seeking their help. Diana grants her protection without knowing the full truth about her past. But when Batman arrives to arrest Danielle, Wonder Woman finds herself trapped by her oath and forced to stand against her ally. Torn between duty, justice, and compassion, she must decide how far a sacred promise should be honored when it comes into direct conflict with the law.

Issue 1
The "Hiketeia" is a ceremony during which a woman puts herself under the protection of a goddess. In this story, she is a delinquent pursued by Batman (but also by evil deities) who takes place under the tutelage of the famous princess Amazone Wonder Woman. The encounter between Diana and Batman then turns out to be most muscular, each responding to his duty! Wonder-Woman is part, with Superman and Batmana, of the three essential characters of DC. She is particularly appreciated by the female audience. Wonder-Woman, the film, is moreover in preparation. She will also be the subject of a volume by Semic in the collection "L'Encyclopédie", early 2004.
