In the Krakoan era, mutantkind relaunches S.W.O.R.D., an independent organization tasked with representing Earth against extraterrestrial threats and powers. From the Peak space station, Abigail Brand leads a team that includes Magneto, Cable, Manifold, Frenzy, and Wiz-Kid, each assigned a specific role. Their mission quickly expands beyond simple space surveillance, as cosmic crises, interstellar diplomacy, and political rivalries place mutants at the center of the galaxy’s shifting balance of power. But Brand also pursues ambitions of her own, and her decisions may come into conflict with Krakoa’s interests as mutantkind’s growing presence in space attracts dangerous new enemies.
