A psionic entity named Onslaught is born from the darkest parts of Charles Xavier and Magnéto. Its increasing power threatens human and mutant, forcing the X-Men, the Avengers, the Four Fantastics and other heroes to unite. To save the world, many of them will have to consent to a sacrifice that will upset the Marvel universe.
