Seven years after the events of Watchmen, Ozymandias’ world stands on the brink of collapse. As international tensions threaten to trigger nuclear war, Adrian Veidt sets out to find Doctor Manhattan, who disappeared years earlier and whom he believes is the only being capable of saving their reality. His search leads him, along with Rorschach, Marionette, and Mime, into the universe of Superman and Batman. As the presence of superheroes fuels a global political crisis, strange connections between the two realities begin to emerge. At the center of these events, Doctor Manhattan observes the history of the DC Universe and discovers that Superman may be the key to a conflict capable of reshaping time itself.
