The Doom Patrol brings together individuals transformed by accidents, experiments, or strange phenomena that have left them on the margins of society. Under the guidance of the mysterious scientist Niles Caulder, Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman, and their allies confront threats as bizarre as they are unpredictable, often involving impossible dimensions, secret organizations, and realities that defy logic. More than a traditional superhero team, the Doom Patrol is made up of people deeply affected by their conditions and by the feeling that they may never truly belong in the world around them. Blending absurdity, science fiction, and human drama, their adventures explore both external dangers and their own emotional wounds.
