Stephen Strange protects Earth from mystical threats, but every spell he casts comes at an increasingly heavy cost. When the Empirikul, a fanatical organization determined to eradicate all forms of magic, begins destroying dimensions and slaughtering their sorcerers, Doctor Strange faces an enemy capable of wiping out magic itself. Stripped of much of his power and resources, he must rely on Wong and other masters of the mystic arts to resist. As magic gradually disappears from the world, old enemies such as Baron Mordo take advantage of his weakness and return to strike. Stephen must rethink the way he fights and decide how far he is willing to go to preserve magic.
