B. is an immortal warrior, half-human and half-god, condemned for thousands of years to an existence defined by uncontrollable violence. After surviving countless eras and wars without being able to die, he now works for the U.S. government on missions considered too dangerous for ordinary soldiers. In exchange for his service, he hopes to finally obtain answers about his origins, the true nature of his immortality, and above all a way to end it. As experiments and memories reveal fragments of his past, B. begins to discover that those claiming to help him may also be seeking to exploit his power.
