After spending several years abroad, Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham determined to fight the crime consuming the city. Still inexperienced, he searches for the best way to use his abilities, wealth, and fear to become a symbol capable of confronting criminals and corruption. At the same time, James Gordon arrives in Gotham as a young police officer and discovers a deeply corrupt department. As their paths eventually cross, each man tries in his own way to survive in a violent city and lay the foundations for a fight that will permanently change Gotham.

This mythical epic describes the first year of Batman's career: his first experiences with the most dangerous criminals in Gotham City, his first failures, his first victories. For the occasion, we offer our readers a final edition full of bonuses and unreleased sketches. An album that will seduce both those who do not know this saga as well as those who go back to it.
