Marchands travelling in an old space truck, Valerian and Laureline arrive at the limits of the known world, at the border of the universe in formation: the Great Nothing. The two spacio-temporal agents then engage in an expedition with the hope of finding the Earth there, scratched from the space of the cosmos.
