Beyond the Ocean of the Abyss lies Ynuma, an isolated continent where honor, ancient traditions, and devotion to duty shape the lives of its many peoples. In these lands inhabited by legendary creatures and dangerous spirits, the exorcist priestess Mei-Jen travels alongside Zhao, a powerful Kugo warrior known as the Red Samurai. Together, they confront beings that cross the Veil and threaten the inhabitants of Ynuma. Through their various missions, they discover the peoples, beliefs, and conflicts of a mysterious continent where the world of the living constantly exists alongside the realm of spirits.

Over the seasons, Mei-Jen and Zhao hunt the tormented spirits that cross the Sailing. From autumn to the haunted marshes, to the glacial winter of the mountains of Onna, passing through the perfidious mists of spring, their quest leads them to the borders of Ynuma. But under the implacable heat of summer, Zhao will have to face an even more formidable enemy: his own past Canal BD Le Mag n°163: Mei-Jen and Zhao are as different as they are complementary. Of fragile appearance and rather playful, the first is a priestess Dobushi remarkably effective despite his young age. The second is particularly strong, but also very serious, engulfed in the strict rules of the Kago people to which he belongs. These two-thicknesses already crisss-crossing the regions of Ynuma to hunt the demons. Volume 2 — Hijo
Message by day, spy by night, Hijo splits the heavens of Ynuma for the Raida nation. After becoming the protector of an Elf and a girl, he has only one mission: to survive the samurai who hunt them. On his Ten-no-Tori, Hijo travels through the heavens of Ynuma to deliver precious messages and artifacts. Marked by a painful past, he nourishes a tenacious hatred towards the Elves of Kitanaë. Yet, when his master sends him on mission to the heart of their city, he cannot refuse. Trapped, trapped, Hijo must protect an Elf and a child... without knowing why they are the key to his mission.
Volume 3 — The Honorable Judge Wonq
Three days. This is the time that Judge Wonq and his two companions have to exonerate the alleged killer of a young elf.
