Beyond the Ocean of the Abyss lies Ynuma, an isolated continent where honor, ancient traditions, and devotion to duty shape the lives of its many peoples. In these lands inhabited by legendary creatures and dangerous spirits, the exorcist priestess Mei-Jen travels alongside Zhao, a powerful Kugo warrior known as the Red Samurai. Together, they confront beings that cross the Veil and threaten the inhabitants of Ynuma. Through their various missions, they discover the peoples, beliefs, and conflicts of a mysterious continent where the world of the living constantly exists alongside the realm of spirits.
