Nike Hatzfeld is 33 years old when his legendary hypertrophied memory refers him back to the very first days of his own birth. We are in 1993. Yugoslavia is dying, the Bosno-Serb shells rain on Sarajevo hospital. This is where Nike shares his bed and his first days of life with Amir and Leyla, orphans like him. His destiny changes when he remembers having sworn, at the age of 18 days, to find them and to "protect them always." Between his memory of 1993 and his contemporary reality of 2026, Nike Hatzfeld undergoes a brutal contraction of time, which leads him into a whirlwind of obscurantist religious apocalypse, as if the discomforts of his future of 2026 were inscribed in his first breath of 1993. Amir, on his side, overwhelms the world and his democracies, orchestrated by a certain Optus Warhole, self-proclaimed "The Incarnation of Supreme Evil"... Nike and Leyla are found. Amir, on the other hand, overworn with Sacha, a fourth piece of a paumy girl.

Nike That a mini-bomb then explodes at my feet, that a brilliance of terrace sprays my nose (third time in a year), everything, in this fragment of time to extreme violence, should have put the chip in my ear (it itself blown by the deflagration). Everything would have been better than the INVITATION. Because this is all over again. Amir I very strongly shook his body and this new skin anthracites straight out of my nightmares. Very strong and very long. As in trying to conjure with it the extravagance. Leyla Nike remained as long as the other nine in the cave. Like the other nine, on his return, he asked the usher a sheet of paper and a pencil, and like the other nine he silent for long hours. Finally, as for the other nine, his first sentence was a triple question, identical to the word next: "The carbon 14 bis says what on the bones and the obus ? The overlaps with the elements of the inventor say ?

In the Sleep of the Monster, Nike Hatzfeld is thirty-three years old when his legendary hypertrophied memory refers him to the very first days of his own birth. It's 1993. Yugoslavia is dying, the Bosnian-Serb shells rain on the hospital in Sarajevo. This is where Nike shares her bed and her first days of life with Amir and Leyla, orphans like him. His destiny changes when he remembers swearing, at the age of eighteen days, to find them and protect them forever. Between his memory of 1993 and his contemporary reality of 2026, Nike Hatzfeld suffered a sudden contraction of time, which led him into a whirlwind of obscurantist religious apocalypse, as if the genes of his future of 2026 were inscribed in his first breath of 1993. A macabre ball shakes the planet, sweeps the world and its democracies, orchestrated by a self-proclaimed Optus Warhole: Incarnation of supreme evil. Nike and Leyla are here. Amir, for his part, straddles with Sacha, a dirty girl, fourth piece brought back from an ongoing puzzle. Thirty-two December sees Optus Warhole, the duplicator of humans, moving into the Artist of Supreme Evil, quick to play and play with the infinitely great, including an abyssal opening on the unknown of the cosmos, or the infinitely small, including four human destinies, it is true, not quite ordinary, because simply his favourites: Nike, Leyla, Amir and Sacha. The title Rendez-Vous à Paris would thus indicate Nike's quest, his promise to rebuild the trio of orphans of Sarajevo 1993, is about to come true? Unless it's a fourth and final act.

It is in the French capital that we walk in the footsteps of Nike. A transformed Nike, under influence; despite an appearance of freedom, it is the Warholian grip that still exercises itself on the least of his actions. He is there, just under his skin, keeping the events under control. Meanwhile, up there, far away from weightlessness, Leyla, now astronaut, takes subreptitiously the direction of the ship that is heading towards Mars.
