For Lucky Luke, the time is not at the "Friendly Veal, Cow, Sheep, Incubated"... At Cattle Gulch, a crazy guy named Ovide Byrde has established a haven of peace for animals, with Rantanplan for figure of bow. All this is only sweet madness until the day when Rantanplan discovers a gold deposit in spite of him.
