Alberic, the king of the Nibelungen, forged a ring in celestial gold. A ring in power so great that he is able to bow everything to his will. Wotan, the Father of the Gods, takes it in order to free the goddess Idunn, guardian of the apples of immortality. But beware of the curse. To appease its effects, Wotan shares the layer of countless mortal women. Of these unions are born Siegmund and his sister Siegliend, who also bear the black fire of the ring. The curse of the Nibelungen then leaves the land of the Gods to win Mannheim, the land of Man. The fate of the Gods and Mortels is irremediably linked.
