In order to satisfy a cruel Viking king, two brothers set out in search of a famous storyteller. The one who failed will have to perish. A merciless chase starts from then on. On the one hand, Skeggi is tied up with the bloody Roald the Borgne. On the other hand, Sligand embarks on board the Aslak, the most pitiful drakkar of the kingdom commanded by the reckless Brynhild. Their quest is expected to be most dangerous...
Having survived its abyssal fall, the Aslak crew found themselves projected into the world of chimeras. Fortunately, thanks to the magic of the Great Book of Tales, there is a way to get to the path of return. But the road is not all traced, far from there. And it is without counting with the skeggy squirrel and on the harp of the enemy drakkar, led by the dreadful Roald the blind...
Captured by such cruel and disgusting dwarfs, Dankrad hopes that his friends will come to his rescue. For this, he relies on his rabbit's paw, a precious pendant that he holds and which would prove to be the key that would allow our whole little world to find the way of the world of humans. In the meantime, we will have to face this world of nothing... Fantasy, adventure, love and humor are at the rendezvous!
The crews of Aslak and Markvard have only one obsession: to leave this country as strange as cursed. To do so, they will have to find Osfrid, if he is still alive. But nothing goes as they wish. The cold, terrible, but especially the giant Hel and its columns of dead-living people and a true colony of Frowins do not intend to let them leave so easily.
The crews of Aslak and Markvard find themselves confronted with the giant Hel in its immense ice palace. They will have to wage an epic battle and some will have to sacrifice themselves so that others can continue their journey, and find the Skeggy van that has just crossed the Valhalla gate with the precious book that should allow them to return home.
A year has passed. Who of the two brothers will be able to bring back The Great Book of the Tales to save their mother? When life is held only by a thread, it is often by that of a history or a Viking blade. At the Walhalla, while the skeggy scum continues its way, taking The Great Book of the Tales with him, his brother seeks to join the middle mast. What remains of the crew of the Aslak arrives at a curious tumulus emerged: the door allowing to leave the kingdom of the gods will be opened, but they are not the only ones who want to borrow it...
