In the wake of the great ancient cities of the Gallo-Roman space already travelled in the footsteps of Alix (Lugdunum, Vienna, Orange/Vaison-la-Romane...), here is another major step in the southern part of what was, at the time of Alix: Aquae-Sextiae, which is now known as Aix-en-Provence. From the gates of the city and its public spaces to the stalls and private houses, Nuria Nin, the current chief curator of the Heritage of the Municipality of Aix, invites the faithful of Alix to a deep rediscovery of the city, put in images by Yves Plateau, Alex Evang and Jérôme Presti. A route that should benefit from strong local media coverage, the Marseille-Provence ensemble, which includes the territory of Aix-en-Provence, having been designated "European Capital of Culture" in 2013.
