Following the fascinating portrait of this ancient people established in Etruria, currently Tuscany, in the North of Italy, who gave birth to one of the most important civilizations of the ancient world, founder of the city of Rome in the 7th century BC. The Etruscans developed trade on the sea as well as on land, competing with the Greeks and the Carthaginians. But, driven out of Rome in 509 BC, defeated by the Greeks, returned from Campania by the Samnites and from Northern Italy by the Gauls, they were submitted by the Romans in 350 BC.
