A strange trio bursts in and takes Akané. This group of heirs of the Jakô dynasty is composed of Herbe, Menthe and Letron, funny names for funny characters... They are indeed specialists in martial arts, descendants of half-man, half-animal women, whose powers are superhuman. Falling into a magical source, Herb can only change sex in contact with the water of a magic kettle. Incidentally, Ranma is touched by this same spring water, which prevents her from re-transforming into a boy. He too must find the kettle to get out of it. Who will find her first?
