After the rather moving conclusion of Alabasta and Vivi, we find our favorite pirate crew at sea, setting off for new adventures. A moment of rest is quickly cut short by the sudden and predictable arrival of a new crew member: Miss Allsunday. It is following this humorous few pages that trouble begins for Luffy and his friends. A galleon falls from the sky. Many questions arise, finding only a beginning of an answer when Luffy, Sandy, and Zoro dive to retrieve clues that might lead them to Skypiea. Indeed, before sinking, Luffy managed to retrieve a map from the ship indicating the position of an island located in the sky above the Grand Line. The Long Pose, which points to the sky since the ship's fall, makes them doubt. How can an island in the sky exist!? Deciding to find out more, they head to Jaya (a port not far away) to get more information but quickly realize that this island is, apparently, just a rumor. Without any certainty about what the truth is, our friends do not lose heart...
