In an effort to save Eva, Tenma escapes from prison, and with the only clue being a note left by his lawyer, Master Verdeman, he heads to the rose villa. Meanwhile, Nina, who is trying to bring back memories of her childhood, has also arrived at the villa. She enters the house and crosses the doorway at the end of the corridor. She then has a flash vision of that horrible scene.
