Several years after the Cell Games, Gohan is a high school student at Orange Star (Satan City). He disguises himself as Great Saiyaman to fight crime. Videl (Hercule's daughter) discovers his identity and forces him to enter the Tenka'ichi Budōkai and teaches him to fly. Gohan learns that Goku is coming back to Earth. Vegeta, Kuririn, #18 (married to Kuririn), and Piccolo also want to enter. Goku returns and meets his second son, Goten. Goten and Trunks (young, present) enter the children's tournament, while the others enter the adults' tournament where Hercule appears (pretending he defeated Cell alone).
