Several Namek warriors sacrifice themselves against Freeza. Gohan and Kuririn save Dende, the only survivor, but are pursued by Dodoria. Vegeta intercepts him, learns that Freeza destroyed the Planet Vegeta (his home planet), and kills Dodoria. Dende leads Kuririn to the Grand Elder (creator of the Namek Dragon Balls). Vegeta meets Zarbon (another of Freeza's henchmen) and is defeated. Zarbon transforms and defeats Vegeta again.
