After a fierce struggle, Kyklo managed to escape the Titan who was pursuing him and to return to Shiganshina unharmed. However, his respite was of short duration because he was immediately picked up by the Special Brigades who accused him of the assassination of Dario Inocencio. Arrested before Carla's eyes, he was not even entitled to a trial and was ex officio sentenced to banishment, a punishment synonymous with a certain death, since it is no more than being expelled from the Walls, and therefore delivered to the Titans in pasture!
