There she finds her mother, her little sister Prim and even Gale, Haymitch, Plutarch and some of the tributes, as bad as she is. Once back on her feet, however, Katniss agrees to return to the front of the stage. She will be the Mockingjay, the face of the resistance against the Capitol, organized by District 13 and its president, the Strange Corner. The young girl hopes to be able to return to the Capitol to assassinate President Snow and save Peeta.
