The sword of the Samurai is more than his weapon: it is his soul. And every samurai must be worthy of his daisho, the pair of matching swords. From his beginnings, Miyamoto Usagi has proved that he deserved his blades a great deal, fighting injustice and cultivating his spiritual and martial talents. The adventures of this volume lead him to study with a Zen monk the practice of shakuhachi, an old flute, and to share with him his ultimate wish, to hear the music of paradise. But, later, he also discovers a new goal: made angry by the theft of his swords, he launches himself in the footsteps of the leader of a band of unscrupulous brigands, in order to find his daisho.
