The original series of the Transformers Marvel comics of 1984 continues with the first appearances of the Dinobots and Circuit Breaker. Ratchet discovers that the Autobots were trapped by Shockwave... who took with him the head of Optimus Prime! He will have to win alone against Megatron, but quickly understands that this one no longer has absolute control of the Decepticons...
The Autobots trace Decepticons to a mountain space monitoring centre where Constructicons and Soundwave build a giant transmitter with stolen trucks and radio equipment. Recognising the Autobots, Soundwave orders Constructicons to defend the transmitter while it completes its transmission to Cybertron. Constructicons merge into a giant form, a robot called Devastator... End of the original arc of the very first Transformers series!
