The planet Ova has been mysteriously emptied of all its inhabitants. It is the Jedi Quinlan Vos who is to discover the reason for it. His investigation leads him to explore the planet Dathomir under the identity of a slave, subjected to the goodwill of the warrior clans and terrifying witches who share the region. As the Jedi approaches the truth, the greater in him becomes the grip of the Dark Side.
