A woman, inevitably fatal, rode in Sin City, the city of sin, and she chose her prey, a man, inevitably credulous, because after the body with a burning body, the religious mantle always gets rid of the male. With "I Killed for She", second part of the Sin City cycle, Miller continues the exploration of his city in black and white: the black of death and the white of the last moment.
The old town of Sin City is a well guarded fortress whose beautiful night have made their headquarters. Unlike many of the hot neighborhoods known throughout the world, here there is no need for pimps. The girls are armed to the teeth and they are the ones who make rule "the law". So, when a cop armed with bad intentions enters the old town to mislead one of them, he does not know that he will lose his head and trigger a big carnage! The episode allows to find Dwight (I killed for her) and especially the "prostitute-acrobat-Ninja", Miho.
Debauchery, perversion, abuse of power, corruption: the Roark family embodies the worst vices of Sin City. On the eve of his retirement, Inspector Hartigan crossed the path of Jr Roark, the Senator's son.
Finally! Here is the re-release of the Sin City T5, "Family Value", by Frank Miller, the great master of the American black and white polar. The many fans of Sin City will find with pleasure the black atmosphere of the series, and some of these celebratory characters: Dwight and Miho the silent killer (Sin City T2). Just watch her handle the sword to forget the Ninja turtles, even if in both cases they would like to lie on their backs. The snow storm that struck the city during this episode allows Frank Miller to realize, once again, a real graphic feat.
While waiting for the release of the upcoming volume of Sin City's adventures, the Rackham Editions continue their policy of re-editing this series by publishing volume 6 "Daughters and Flanges". In the spirit of Peter Cheney and Mickey Spillane, find Marv, Fat Man, Little Boy and the daughters of the city of sins. Nicknamed "Yeux Bleus", Delia is an apprentice hired killer. Here she performs her first contract, not without some difficulties. Marv, the prious knight has trouble remembering his previous evening. Yet, no doubt, he did not wear the same clothes yesterday evening. From Bastons in bitures, pretty girls in big guns, all the atmosphere of Sin City is summarized here in 11 short stories and many illustrations. More than 160 ages of noise and fury in black and white and in different bichromies.
Wallace, an illustrator of the press, former of Vietnam, saves a young girl from suicide. Their meeting quickly turns into an idyllic, alas of short duration, because the first kiss exchanged is stopped net by a shot. When he gets up, Esther has been taken away. Wallace now has a goal in life, finding Esther and saving her from her captors. Sin City the black one does not betray her sulphurous reputation. To the most terrible evils oppose a new hero to the big heart and pulpous girls. If this episode of Sin City is above all a love story, as well as the founding episode, it is also a new opportunity for Frank Miller to renew his art. To the shock of black and white and bichromy, Miller opposes a chapter "délisant" entirely put in color by Lynn Varley where we find all the fetic characters or heroes of his career, from Elektra to Clint Eastwood, passing through Hagar Dunor. It is also the longest episode of the series, with more than 300 pages of comic strips.
