Al Simmons, alias Hellspawn, made a pact with the Devil to return to Earth after his death. But he was betrayed: Heaven as hell mock humanity and seek only to capture as many souls as possible for an inevitable confrontation. Hellspawn rebelled and decided to purge the Earth from divine and satanic manifestations. In this volume, it is a serial killer and Cy-Gor, a half-man cyborg, half-monkey, who attracted the attention of our croque-mitaine, for their greatest misfortune.
A powerful and deadly creature travels the city in search of Al Simmons, a former government agent. A stealth shadow slides from one skyscraper to another to stop the beast. Al Simmons, now Spawn, follows the monster's trail to find its creators. The prey becomes hunter, in a flood of violence and fire whose HellSpawn is not sure to escape even.
The struggle against the monstrous Cy-Gor is concluded here as a mother, possessed by Hell, gives birth to a creature whose sole purpose will be to provoke Spawn in duel for the title of King of Hell.
