The fairy tale heroes exist and live among us! Chased from their kingdoms by the Adversary, the Fables find refuge in our world and establish their community in the very heart of New York. But far from the fairy tale, White Snow's sister, Red Rose, is found murdered, and it is Bigby, sheriff of Fableville and Grand Méchant Loup repenti, to solve the case. Two suspects stand out: Bluebeard, ex-lover of the young victim and compulsive serial killer, and Jack, good for nothing deboning descended from his bean.
