The city of Gothan is a corrupt city, from its low-towns to the highest courts. Its mayor, Oswald Cobblepot is caught up by a new incorruptible candidate, Dr. Thomas Wayne. However, he is shot down, with his wife Martha, under the eyes of their only child, Bruce. Years later, Bruce, assisted by Alfred Pennyworth, a former makeshift soldier, decides to wage a relentless war of crime, creating a new identity: that of Batman, the masked vigilante.
