Issue 1
Bruce Wayne is not leaving anything. He is not the descendant of a rich empire in Gotham City, he is the son of a public school teacher who, as a child, has experienced the unimaginable horror of a shooting, forever changing the trajectory of his life. Without unlimited resources to finance him, without manor or butler to look after him, Bruce became a Batman of a completely different kind, both cerebral and ultra-must, living in the most difficult and disadvantaged quarters of Gotham, far from the high society. And while the Black Mask gang is spreading terror in the city, he will not hesitate to unleash a torrent of violence against his opponents to make the message clear: there is a new Batman in town.
