On the pirate ship, Peter regains consciousness. He then meets the captain and Mr. Mouche. He does not return to be on a real pirate ship and runs through the boat. The captain catches him up to ask him three questions. He wants to know who he is, where he comes from and what he wants. Peter then tells his trip from London through the air, in the company of Clochette. The pirates burst out of laughter. To prove his words, he jumps from the boat by waving his arms. He finds himself in the sea when he can't swim, with two fingers to be devoured by the crocodile. In a bad mood, the captain then suspends him over the waves and asks him again the question. Peter invariably answers that he came flying thanks to Clochette... but this is not of the taste of the captain, who looses him. Clochette then intervenes with the star dust that she throws on Peter. He finds himself suspended in the air to the general surprise. The crocodile replies that he came by flying thanks to Clochette... but it is not of the taste of the captain, so far away from the ship. Peter's going to catch his ship.
