An ancient Druid who became a priest of the Holy Cross and a virgin, mother of a child born of the fairy. A strange family in truth! But be careful to judge hastily, for with it began a time without the same!
"You want to know the future, young Merlin? Open your eyes, and the future will come to you!"
Merlin, the ceremony that will follow will lead you to the renunciation of your human part. This is the trial of Cromm-Cruach! He is the God of self-denial and evil, he is the hatred of man for man. Go out victorious and you will live. Fail and you will die!
On the advice of Ahès, Merlin embarked on a vast campaign against the defenders of Christ. Maelwys, king of Lindinis, was the first to see his lands submerged by the armies of orcas and trolls. In Londinium, the Breton kings held a council of war where two sides were opposed: that of Vortigem and that of the priest Patrick, who had only one wish, to put an end to this so-called messiah. Blaise and Maelle, for their part, were in search of the Grail. Destination, Avalon, a land of legend where the ladies of the lake lived.
The city of Avalon is under the grip of a terrible dragon that the priests try to fight. But under the features of this dragon hides in reality Brendan, the victim of a curse. Only Blaise is aware of and perhaps will reveal the truth in the open. For his part, Ahès, whose power continues to grow, persuades Merlin to change politics and attack as a priority, Avalon. But in their ranks, Erwan the Druid and the God Nuada disapprove of this will. Very quickly, Erwan is put to death by the goddess and Nuada is "invited" to face Merlin in duel. The fate of Avalon depends on it.
You have nothing to envy to this Jesus of Nazareth. You yourself were born under the impulse of a goddess, of the belly of a virgin. You possess gigantic powers! And see! You too, today you hold a cauldron of resurrection. You are now his equal.
A legendary fight for the survival of an old tradition! Merlin is dead. At a time when the young elected of the old civilization is gradually freed from the influence of the Cromm-Cruach, his destiny is changing again, tragically. It is a strange respite before the conflict that is preparing. Each camp seems in confusion. Yet, Blaise like Maëlle eagerly wishes to pay a last tribute to Merlin. They saw him in dream, they felt his distress at the time of his death! Why did Ahès kill her messiah? What maneuver is she putting in place?
Slowly, the ancient tradition linked to the Celtic Gods is extinguished. The people forget it for the benefit of the One God. But it is not to mention the goddess Ahès! Brendan's life is now in his hands. Maelle could still save him by agreeing to convert, but she refuses and joins Avalon. Ahès, Merlin, Blaise and Solenn are now at the head of an immense army, ready to roll over to Avalon. The war can now begin! But everything becomes fragile: Ahes doubt of Blaise, and since he has purposed the water of Bran's cauldron blessed him, Merlin seems to be possessed. At the dawn of a great battle, it may be that these uncertain times finally join the legend so often prophesied.
We have narrated his life so many times and you see it well. My story is different from what we have always heard about Merlin. In these dark times, the last of the Celtic goddesses is struggling for his survival. A fight for which she created Merlin, the one she calls the messiah. He is dead and resurrected! He is now immortal and God himself. Merlin has been able to defeat the Crom cruach. From now on, free of his intentions, what will be his fight next to Ahès against Avalon? Will he take part in this package? The night before the great war against the sacred island was a night of indescribable pain for all.
Blaise died, murdered by Dame Solenn ap Maelweg. Merlin is destroyed, but in the midst of the storm, he becomes a most formidable warrior. For her part, Ahès is confident. She leads the assault of Avalon, but the more she progresses, the more she is tormented by her own memories. The child that she was once the haunt. Her youth spent in Avalon next to Lady Azenor resurrected. Ahès always knew that her ultimate fight would oppose her to the high lady of Avalon. But at the fateful moment, will she be able to make the right choice? Will she dare kill the only person outside Merlin whom she had never loved?
After five centuries of domination over Great Britain, the Roman Empire abandoned the island, which was threatened by the bloody invasions of the Saxons, the Pictes and the Scotts. The Christian religion took precedence over the Druid tradition and that of Avalon. But the goddess Ahès is back! Incarnate in the body of the young Morgane she attends well despite her the rise of the protégé of Merlin: the young Arthur. Brandir Excalibur would make him king of kings? It would be far too easy! Arthur must convince otherwise, winning the hearts of the undecided, opening his own, rendering justice and striking the common enemies!
It is time for Arthur to come out of the shadow of Merlin in order to become the sovereign that Brittany has been waiting for so many years... But as he tries to unify the country and its many clans, Ahès, who left in Morgan's womb a poisoned gift, weaves again his canvas in the North. In Letavia, Bedwir joins Lancelot at war with Claudas, the murderer of his parents...
The Saxon ships disembark on the island and leave in their wake terrible visions of Bretons murdered and villages perishing by fire. Monsignor Germain, former warrior today in command and Peter, his novice, are witnesses of the scene. Yet they do not deign to come to the aid of the unfortunate. After all, would God allow true believers to suffer?
