At the orders of Neferis, the Assassin Masters execute the fools who dare to threaten them or the targets of their clients. If all are formidable fighters, those chosen by Neferis for special missions enjoy exceptional faculties due to the philists of an alchemist. When a rival guild attacks Neferis, one of them is sent to solve the problem. He is called Osahar.
Elyes and Saheek were formed together as early as childhood, a formidable duo of Assassin Masters. When their leader Neferis decided to set up a guild counter in Anderion, it was to them that she entrusted this mission. And they would accomplish it without the interference of the Inquisition... To advantage them, Neferis gave Elyes a gift. But if the philter proved decisive, he soon became a problem.
Master Assassin of exception like Osahar, Neida enjoys a unique gift that is given to him by an elixir. When asked to kill Eliezer the Mad - the former exarch of the Order of Inquisitor Masters - she sees in him an easy prey. But the power of the latter has evolved. He is able to stimulate emotions and gives rise to feelings that were previously alien to Neida.
Last volume. A lord of the Sighs once praised the services of the Assassins Masters against the price of their choice. And this prize was his younger son, Armant de Lanslet. When the guild claims his due, Armant is associated with three young men. He follows the training that will make them killers and takes the lead of the group for their first mission. From now on, he is no longer Armant de Lanslet. He is Malgerian.
