Fentown Town had acquired the sad reputation of being the most depraved city in Texas... Forbidden to the under 18s, its population was in the strength of age because it was not living there old... This city was ruled by Dean Fentown, an unscrupulous bandit. No sheriff had been able to bring the law to rule there before the arrival of Lucky Luke who, with a sweep, cleaned up and arrested Fentown. Sentenced to 1,233 years of forced labour, he was imprisoned in the penitentiary that already housed the Daltons. Following a poor telegraph transcript, Joe Dalton was released. He immediately made his three brothers escape. Inspired by the Fenton adventure, they decided to found their own city: Dalton City.
